On August 16, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs was visited by the Chairman of the Austrian-Turkmen Society Neda Berger and the leaders of two Austrian companies invited to our country to participate in the events of the First Caspian Economic Forum.
The Chairman of the TUIE informed the guests about new projects of Turkmen entrepreneurs. The positive experience of cooperation between Union members and Austrian colleagues in such areas as agribusiness, the organization of food and soft drinks, and the supply of high-tech equipment was noted.
It was emphasized that today the issues of interaction between the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and European partners in organizing joint innovative industries, in the trade sector, taking into account the ever-growing export potential of domestic producers, as well as in agriculture, are coming to the fore.
Neda Berger announced the interest of the members of the Austrian-Turkmen society led by her, including large Austrian and other European companies, in establishing contacts with Turkmen entrepreneurs in implementing joint projects in various fields.
Noting the presence of great partnership potential, the meeting participants emphasized the advisability of organizing bilateral meetings of companies of the two countries interested in cooperation.
Since February 2012, the Austrian-Turkmen Society has been an honorary member of the TUIE. This is the first international and European organization to join the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
